Dilly Dally Dayz: Read, Write, Laugh!

Dilly Dally Dayz: Read, Write, Laugh! Ages 5-12 | March 16th

ESFRA Porter's Lake, Suite 203

Program Description

This reading-focused March Break session is playful, funny, and interactive. We’ll begin by reading several laugh-out-loud stories to set the tone and get kids thinking about what makes a story fun, dramatic, and memorable. From there, kids will work together to create one big collaborative story called The Great March Break Disaster, a tale about the moment March Break almost went completely wrong. Each child will illustrate and contribute one page to the story, problem-solving, and save the day together! At the end of the session, the completed story will be read aloud as a group, celebrating everyone’s ideas and creativity. Children can choose to take home a photocopied copy of the finished book as a keepsake of their March Break storytelling adventure. No advanced reading or writing skills are needed, drawing, imagination, and a sense of humour are encouraged! For ages 5–12 with their caregivers.
