Welcome to Fall.. and our New Centre!
Fall is shaping up to be a busy one at ESFRA, and we can’t wait to welcome families and community members back for another season of connection, learning, and fun!
Over the coming months, we have plenty happening. Family programs, workshops, special events, community gatherings, and lots of opportunities to get involved. Whether you’re joining us for a favourite returning program or checking out something new, we hope you’ll find something in this newsletter that feels like a good fit for you and your family.
And first up: registration for our drop-in programs officially opens next week! Keep reading for program details, upcoming events, important dates, and everything happening at ESFRA this fall.

First Moon: Becoming You
A gentle, supportive workshop for youth and their female mentors covering puberty, cycles, emotional wellbeing, yoga, and self-care tools.

Pumpkin Pizzazz
A hands-on family pumpkin decorating experience! Paint, stencil, or carve together with up to 4 pumpkins per family.

Parenting in an Emergency
Learn preparedness essentials from Department of Emergency Management officers: go-bags, NS Alert app, safety plans, and child care in crises.

Join our centre in recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Ages 0-12
Drop-In Program Registration Opens Next Week!
Registration is opening soon for Play Dates Are Us, Kids N’ Elders, Toddler Twist, Dress for Mess, New Parent Group, and Tiny Taste Explorers!
Our drop-in programs open for registration one week before each program date, at the same day and time the program begins. So, if a program runs Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., registration opens the Tuesday before at 10:00 a.m.
