Soothing Paths: Family Sleep Workshop
A 1.5 hour, neuroscience-informed workshop for parents, caregivers, and expectant parents .
Program Description
Soothing Paths is a gentle introduction to infant and parent sleep, what’s biologically normal, how sleep develops in the early years, and how connection and regulation support meaningful rest for the whole family. Guided by our Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner Tracy Cowan, this one-time workshop blends science with compassion to help families understand the deeper needs behind sleep. Instead of rigid schedules or “fix-it” approaches, we focus on the brain, the nervous system, and the relationship between parent and baby. You’ll learn how simple, responsive practices can ease stress, increase confidence, and support better sleep without ever compromising connection. What We’ll Cover: What infant sleep looks like in the first 0–3 years How the brain and nervous system shape sleep cycles Why common expectations often create unnecessary stress for families How co-regulation, feeding, and environment impact sleep Gentle, realistic strategies to support rest for both baby and parent Ways to reduce pressure and build confidence in your baby’s natural sleep patterns You’ll leave with a grounded understanding of infant sleep, reassurance about what’s normal, and practical tools that feel achievable, not overwhelming. Perfect For: Parents or caregivers of infants (0–3 years) Expectant parents preparing for life after birth Anyone seeking a nurturing, science-backed approach to sleep
