New Parent Group
The New Parent Group is specially designed for first-time parents, and families with large age gaps between their children, for the first year of your baby’s life. This program offers parents and their babies an inviting place to meet other new families in the community, receive information on parenting and related topics, a book lending library, toy borrowing, and easy access to other programs and support offered by the Eastern Shore Family Resource Association.
Special visitors and professionals from our community, such as the Public Health Nurse, regularly attend the New Parent Group to provide information and support. These visits are informal, and our new parents are encouraged to request visitors and suggest topics to discuss according to their needs and interests. An Early Childhood Educator or ESFRA staff with related experience & background facilitates this program.
Our programs & services are offered at no charge to the community. Please note registation is required.
